Using Adobe Indesign 1.5 I do have problem with few fonts. For some reason I am stock with a pink background while using them. I can change the fonts color and everything but I still have a permanent pink background. Is it gonna print out this way? Should I care about it?

Font problem in I.D 1.5 undesirable pink background

The pink highlighting will not print - neither will your fonts. The pink highlighting indicates fonts that are being substituted because the original fonts are not on your system or are corrupt. You should replace the fonts with fonts that you have properly installed to get rid of that pinkness.

The pink background on a text indicates that the font is not available on your system. The problem may occur when you have selected a font for example "Times New Roman"/Bold and then you have changed the font for example "Adobe Garamond" then the pink background appears, because this font family does not have a bold style typeface, so you have to change it and the pink background will disappear. You will see in the style menu like this [Bold] every time the font family does not support that style it will appear like this.
