I "stumbled upon" this site. I think it is pretty cool. For someone new to web design like me I can spend and hour playing around with fonts, sizes, etc untilI see something I like. This site lets you see multiple varieties instantly.
Hehe - everyone's onto this. Jeff posted a link in Nov last year, too (thread253-1148420), and I was about to post a link to it today when I came across this post.
okpeery - to answer your question, Yes, it's a useful tool... but it's not for everyone. You would probably only use it:
- If you were a designer, and wanted to show a developer what font sizes you wanted (most designers seem to have an annoying habit of specifying font sizes in points, which is not designed as a screen-based unit), or
- If you had no idea of what font faces or sizes you wanted on your site, and needed a comparision tool to show different styles side-by-side.
I don't think the use of this tool has anything to do with having experience or not.
Hope this helps,
Dan

this tool allows quick expiermenting / comparison that would take longer by hand no matter who you are. whether or not you use it is a personal choice.
