Does Adobe Illustrator V9 (or V10) have the capability to modify existing True Type Fonts or create new ones and file them were they can be used by other Window applications? Also, if fonts can be created or modified, can they then be converted to curves and exported in a DXF or IGES format to be imported into a 2D CAD package?

Would this be detailed in an Illustrator training video?
Thanks,
JJR

You can create outlines in Illustrator (Type > Create Outlines) and you can export as a DXF file (File > Export...). As for creating new fonts, you'll need something like Macromedia Fontographer.
