When I type a message in outlook 97, change the color of the font or size of the font, send it off, the recipient does not get the change in color or font. Is there a way to change this?
What editor are you using? You may have better luck if you use the HTML editor.
There a lot of variables that you have to consider as well such as what program is the receipient using? Is in Intranet vs Internet mail? joegz

I am not using Microsoft Word as my email editor (I tried it and it didn't seem to make any difference). Mail is being sent internally and externally. Lotus Notes does not pick up any change in font size or color. Internally it only shows up in black as well.
I understand that you are not using Word as the e-mail editor but it would help to know which editor you are using (i.e. RTF or HTML)
If you are using RTF other mail programs outside of Outlook would have problems keeping the formatting from RTF which is why I suggest using HTML. joegz
