Thanks for the response to the earlier post and the suggestion that I uninstall the Intel Ultra Storage driver and replace it with the Intel Application Accelerator. I researched these items on the Intel site and find that I currently do not have either driver present on my system. (And the Intel site seems to indicate that neither of these is actually necessary on a Win2K system.) You mentioned that others have experienced problems with KB841356 - could you please point me to a source for these? I'd like to get more info on their experiences. Thanks loads for your help.
