Follow Me soft key indicator

We are looking to enable Follow Me for a group of developers who want a single number to contact them but be on a rotation for who answers the phone. I was experimenting with the Follow Me feature which will seem to do what I want. I set up buttons in the user rights to enable the follow me. The thing is that if one person enables the follow me and then when it is another persons turn they enable it, while it does properly follow to the second person the indicator light on the soft key is still on for the first person. Is there a way to set it so that when the follow gets taken by another user the indicator turns off for the first user? Thanks.

Just hotdesk a single user around, it will logoff the other phone when they move around

They need to be able to receive calls on their own extension in addition to this other extension, though.

Login/out of a group then, only other way really

So there is no way to get it to turn off the light on a users phone when someone else takes over the Follow Me extension? They seem to like the follow me option, but if the light won't turn off then it will be an issue.

Follow me is not the way to go.
Use a group and a group button.
If needed then you can even have multiple people answering the phone.

There will only be one person answering that number and they will rotate. Is there a way for only allow one person signed in to a group at a time? They just want to be able to sign in and not worry if the last person remembered to sign out. If it comes down to it I'll likely have to use a group anyway if there are no other options to do it the way they want.

They need to logout indeed but that is what it is.
If they cannot do that then put only one phone in
