Folders and files will not delete!

Hi,

I have a number of "orphaned" folders and files on my NT server. When I attempt to delete them I get the message "Cannot find the specified file. Make sure you specify the correct path and filename" . Does anyone know how to delete these files or of any utilities that will remove these unwanted files? The file system is NTFS.

I have managed to delete them using the Command Prompt!

If a request was enetered to delete the files and folders and it was intereupted/cancelled, you can get errors like that. If you can't delete the files from a command prompt, reboot the server and try again. This allows the index to refresh.
