Folder Sorting

All of the sudden my folders are defaulting to sort files within by date rather than name. I have tried sorting the files by name then using the folder setting, 'Like Current Folder' and that doesn't work. Is there somewhere else that I should be looking?

I think that I would check for a virus with Housecall, just to be on the safe side.

If that's clean, then I would question the last programme installed on to the system.

I have in the past had a problem with settings changing, but, I've always been able to change them back.

Thanks Phil, I'll check it out. I wasn't even aware that there was a way to change the default for how files are listed. I assumed that 'by name' was a permanent setting.
