Hi,

I created a "Test1" user with My Document redirected (Group Policy) to it's home drive. After the login, I create a text file in My Document which is redirected onto the server (I have checked 'n it WORKED!). I shutdown the first computer and login with second computer with same "Test1" user but I don't see the text file I have created in My Document folder. Shouldn't the folder redirection recreate the text file on the second computer?? Any files created with second computer (login as Test1) IS NOT redirected onto the server. I want to use folder redirection to eliminate the need for Roaming Profile.

I appreciate any comments or advice :)

T.k.

Is the second computer within the same OU that you applied the Policy to. A Group Filter on a policy, only applies to groups below the OU that the policy has been applied to.
So you apply the policy to the OU containing all computers, and then filter on Users.

Hope this Helps.
