I have a Dell laptop which recently updated its "Dell Support Center." Ever since then, whenever I logon, the folder C:\Program Files\Dell automatically opens. I have checked Start > Program Files > Startup, but it's not in there.

I have also gone to the Registry and in both HKEY_CURRENT_USER and in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, I have checked SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > Current Version > Run, and I don't see it there. Just to be sure, I searched the registry for C:\Program Files\Dell, and it didn't find it. For what it's worth, under HKEY_CURRENT_USER, the Run folder contains "C:\Program Files\DellSupport\DSAgnt.exe" /startup and "C:\Program Files\Dell Support Center\bin\sprtcmd.exe" /P DellSupportCenter.
Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, the Run folder contains C:\PROGRA~1\Dell\QuickSet\quickset.exe, C:\Program Files\Dell Support Center\gs_agent\custom\dsca.exe

Any ideas how I can prevent this from opening after I logon? Thanks!

Try removing it from here to prevent it starting.
