A folder is within a share. The folder itself is not a share. Everytime it is accessed it gives access denied.
Even when you are on the server itself logged in as administrator account of the domain. I have not tried logging on locally yet since I am not there. Besides trying to logon locally what else can I try?

I tried copying the folder and it will copy over but the copy will have no files in it.

Please any suggestions, thanks.

- Have you got access rights to the file? Take ownership of the ship and give yourself FC.

- Is the folder using EFS?

Also try running a CHKDSK /f on the drive in question.

Ash.

Okay, I got it fixed. Thanks for the help. I had to take ownership and give myself full control of the main shares and just propagate the permissions/rights to the rest of the objects.
