Hi,

How do I find what tabcontrol on my form has focus?
Two tabs: tabPackage and TabShipment
If TabPackage has the focus a combox will have to show packages. Ig the TabShipment has the focus the combobox needs to show Shipments.

Can this be done? Thanks.

Take a look at the ActiveControl property.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Nope does not work. At least not for me.
Of course the focus can be on any control on the tab contrl. And the Tabcontrol will still be selected. So focus is not the correct term. OnTop would be the better word.

You may change the RowSource property of the combo in the Change event procedure of the TabControl object.

I found I can use the value propertie of the tabpages to check what tab has the focus.

Thanks for the replies.
