I have a computer that has a malfunctioning floppy drive. It will not read floppies but the activity light is always on. I replaced the drive and the cable but the same problem happens.

This may be a dumb question, but is there such a thing as an adapter that can make a floppy cable fit into a SCSI port?

Thank you for any help.

Sounds like your floppy data cable is not oriented correctly. This will cause the symptoms you are describing.

No, to my knowledge, you won't find an adapter to hook a floppy to a SCSI cable. Mudskipper
