I tried finding this on the web so I figure it can't be done but if it can be done I know you guys are the ones who can tell me.

Anyway, I have a png file shaped like a crescent moon. I want to rotate it four times clock-wise(like a wheel). Is this possible and if so how do I do it?

thanks

Your best bet for a cross-browser solution would be either:

1. Create an animated GIF, or
2. Create 4 PNG files, each rotated 90 degrees, and switch between them using "setTimeout".

if you don't need a cross-browser/cross-platform solution, you could investigate some of the image filters available to IE/Win only.

Hope this helps,
Dan

So I would have to creat four images not one and just turn it?

No... you do not have to. You could choose option 1. You would only have to have multiple images if you chose option 2.

OK thanks I'll see about how to create an animated gif.
