When I have the FlexGrid Selection set by Row or Col when you click it gets Highlighted, but when the selection is set to free when you click it doesnt get highlighted, its selected with a black line around the col but not highlighted. How can I get it to highlight when the col is clicked?

thanks

If you want to highlight a single cell you can change its .cellbackcolor property.

Thanks and Good Luck!

yeah but that would change it permanently, i only want it highlighted until the user clicks on another cell. There has to be a way to select a cell.

thanks

Change the colour in the entercell event and change it back in the leavecell event. Thanks and Good Luck!

thanks a lot ;) it works but I have FixedRows set to 1 with headers and now they changed colors too ;(

any way i can get it to ignore the fixed rows?

other than that it works fine ;) thanks

You should be able to change any cell that you want. Individually or by rows or columns. You just have to reference each cell that you are changing.

To change a row set the current row and loop through the columns. Omit any columns that you don't want to change. Thanks and Good Luck!

Try setting the FocusRect property to "0 - None", this should give you what you want without having to manually change the color of the current cell.
