Hello I can't see my computer in the office (Its hidden) I have a flat screen monitors and a g450 matrox card. If the input into the monitor looks like dsub does that mean that I am definetely not getting a digital signal. Therefore I can set (keep) my refresh rate to 85hz@1024*768 without damage to monitor or me. I have eizo l685 flexscan monitors.

It may seem like rhetorical, but I want to make sure.

Thanks

Chris

Without having hands on experience with either I would say yes.
Flat screens don't have the same internals that tend to smoke with the wrong input. Ed Fair
