I just tried a sort of workaround and it seemed to work:
put the DTPicker in a flat picturebox with the DTP's left and top set to -45 (twips). Then make the picturebox just wide enough to cover the DTP's 3D border on the right and bottom of the DTPicker. This doesn't make the DTP flat, but it makes it appear flat.
Ver ingeneous! I'll save the tip as a last resort. But I've seen some stuff in MSDN about a DrawEdge function but can't understand it. Anyone familiar with it?
