After my previous post about my reset problem I have decided that I have to flash my bios (thats the only thing I haven't tried yet)
I have never flashed the bios before and I have heard some horror stories when things go wrong. I wondered if anyone could tell me how exactly to flash the bios and/or some tips and pointers. Thanks Scotty Mac a.k.a smaxted

Just make a bootable floppy, put all the needed files on the floppy, and make sure the power doesn't go out when doing it.
You should get the option to save your current BIOS, do it. Cheers,
Jim

I have another question..how do you back-up your bios and how do you back-up awardflash ( as recommended by Asus in there manual) Scotty Mac a.k.a smaxted

The AWDFLASH.EXE will prompt you for the name of the file containing the new flash. It will then prompt you to backup your current BIOS, and enter (type in) a name for it. It's all done in the flash GUI. Cheers,
Jim
