flashing ink cartridge lite 1

Recently my ink cartridge lite began to flash, disabling any printing. Error message read that color ink cartridge was not the correct one. I had been using it for 1 month! I replaced it with a new one and it began to flash again. This time the error message said black ink cartridge improperly installed. I bought a new one after re-install failed. There are 2 new cartridges installed in the past 2 days, and the light began to blink again. please help because I cannot print.

You might try reseating both several times. It sometimes helps in breakin through slight corrosion. You might alos try rubbing the connectors wit a clean cloth. It does the same. You don't want to get any skin oil on the contacts. Ed Fair
