How do I get a flash movie to come up as a home page without the browser page wrapping it, in a php site?

Can't, AFIAK. The flash movie is embedded in an html page, and that needs to be output to the browser, unless you force or allow the user to download the flash movie. PHP has nothing to do with this as it only echoes out the html to the page and the object tag is part of the html

You can send the flash with the appropriate headers and it will launch the flash player in the client - if installed.
That's the big thing, there are still people that don't like or have flash. If you do that as your homepage you cut some oue, but it's up to you to decide on the audience.

It's basically the same process as clicking on a link to a .swf file you just send it from PHP. This is my theory, as I have never done it, but it seems this would work.
