Hi,
I'm not entirely sure whether i'm posting this thread in the correct forum but I suppose this has a lot to do with Flash integration.
I am interested in learning about Flash and its capabilities of controlling a walkthrough 3D environment similar to that of the fantastic four website. How is this environment achieved, i'm thinking this is simply a series of videoclips created in a 3D platform whose playback is initiated by the Q&A narrative structure of the site.
Is there a way of creating an 'actual' controlled interactive environment in which the 3D arena is navigated by user input ie. 1st person navigation (walk forward/backward/rotate character).
Has anyone ever seen anything like this before and is this within the scope of Flash/Director/3D integration?
If anyone has any information on this area or knows a good place to find out more I would be much appreciative.
Thanks,
DigiPencil :)

It is definalty in the reaches of director, I'm not sure about flash though. It would require the objects to be drawn at runtime, so coding is a factor here.

Regards,

Martin

Thats exactly what it is.
You need some decent 3D Studio Max skills to do this.
After that this wouldn't be too hard to do.
