i need to use an image as background on a LAY OUT TABLE in dreamweaver, but i dont want this image to keep on repeating, i just want it on the lower left corner. i need to usethis as a background in order to put text over it.

can someone tell me how to that? i found some scripts but they are mostly only for the whole page background and not for one table only...

thank you

You could make sure the size of the image is the same size as the cell/table size. So just create a graphic file with that pixel size (ex. 200 x 200), then have the background colour of that graphic the colour you need, and then put your little image in the corner of the graphic. That way it won't repeat and you can place the html text over it in the table/cell. Hope that makes sense. Of course it would also make sense to have a fixed table size.

use css (but we warned the background images in cells and tables does not show in netscape (at least when i do it)) make a new style and go to the background tab, then select the image and the position you want it (ie horizontal left and vertical bottom) then select the table you want and apply the new style to it

**FOR ME THIS ONLY WORKS IN IE so your next option would be to use layers and put the image in one layer and the text in another [rockband]
whos that behind you?
