Fix BDE

When trying to open/explore the database from the Delphi environment (menu: Database -> Explore) I get the following error:

An error occurred while attempting to initialize the Borland Database Engine (error $2501)

BDE Error 9473

which I have found indicates there is insufficient memory for this operation.

However, this use to work and now it doesn't. I have repaired my copy of Delphi trying to get another issue resolved, but nothing seems to fix this error.

Any ideas what could have happened that my PC suddenly doesn't have enough memory to open the BDE Administrator from Delphi? I can open it fine through the Control Panel.

the items in the delphi tools menu are editable.

try removing the affected item and adding it again.
