Fitting an image in a certain area

Here is the scenario that I have. I've got a table with one row and two cells. In one cell I have an image that will not change. In the other, will be one of several different images. Each image on the right, regardless of which one is displayed at any given time, needs to take up the same space as the one on the left. How do I specify this, either shrinking or growing my right-hand side image appropriately?

If you create an image object for the first image, you can check it's width and height and adjust the second image accordingly.
