First Character of a Text box

Hey sorry if I sound dumb but how do can I get the first character of a word in a text box? ie so if someone types in C56743 I would get the result "C". Help appreciated thanks

Your_Answer = Left(Text1.Text, 1)

Besides Left Also look up Right, Mid, Instr, InstrRev, Trim, and String Parsing Functions.
