Hi I have just aquired a used IP Office SOE 4T 4A 8DS which has firmware 3.2(65) on it and I want to upgrade it to 4.2 but don't have the 3.2(999) firmware can anyone tell me where to get it as the only file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\IP Office\Manager\V3_2_999 is the nadcpv2.bin therefore I am stuck with the upgrade.

If anyone can tell me where to get the full 3.2(999) firmware folder from it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

I never installed a SOE, but I'm pretty sure it tops out at R3.2 software. I don't think it supports 4.2, that's why no 3.2.99 for it.

Platform Current Release Upgrade Step 1 Upgrade Step 2
SOE 2,1 3.2(999) Loader Load 4.2
SOE 3 3.2(999) Loader Load 4.2
SOE 3,1 3.2(999) Loader Load 4.2
SOE 3,2 3.2(999) Loader Load 4.2
SOE 4 Load 4.2

First, nadcpv2.bin is not for the SOE but for DS16V2 orDS30V2 expansion modules!!!
When there is no IP401NG.bin in the 3.2.999 folder then you have the wrong software.
It is there when the 4.2 MAnager is installed.
You need to chaneg your working directory pointing to the 3.2.999 folder.
Only then the SOE will find the file.
After the upgrade to 3.2.999 then change the working directory back and upgrade again but now to 4.2.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
