Fireworks to Dreamweaver problem

Hello again people,
I have created a navbar menu in Fireworks 4 using buttons (as outlined in the manual pg. 245) and exported it as 'HTML & Images' to Dreamweaver 4. However, when I try to preview in the browser I crash - I can view it if I open the html file in IE but when I rollover my menu, the rest of my page corrupts little further down the page. Has anyone else experienced this and how can I solve this....
I'm new to all this so be kind.

Thanks for your swift respinse. I am not sure that it is the same prob. as that of Mr Tony Montana. I have the same prob as I outlined yesterday with an older site I did, but the prob of the page corrupting further down the page when I mouseover a rollover image (done as img's created in FW but made as a rollover image in DW) happens on one PC with IE5.5 and not in another PC with IE5.5. Is there a browser setting that is causing this? I am lost, and know no scripting.
