Hello,
I am having a lot of trouble connecting to a program called Direct Connect. I now have a fast internet connection(mpowered)but can't connect to users, but when I had dialup I had no problem connecting to other users. After attempting to click on users, a screen comes up telling me that I am behind a firewall or proxy. How do I get around this firewall, it is a much needed program.

I'd start with your ISP to make sure they don't have a firewall for you. A lot of them are doing that these days.
