I'm using Mozz firefox and whenever I try to copy columns of data to a spreadsheet (excel) it paste's it in one cell. However when I repeat the same procedure using IE, it distributes the data correctly in column order. Does anyone have a simple config fix for this?

Thanks

The difference is that IE has space separated data and Firefox has space and tab separated data. To get around it, use Paste Special instead of normal paste. It will present you with a dialog. Just choose Text and it will import correctly.

You will find a similar problem if you're copying Arabic text from IE to Word. In fact it is the other way round. It works with Firefox but with IE, you need to use Paste Special.
