We have a Firebox III that we recently converted from "drop in" mode to "routed mode". Virtually all of our inbound traffic is now "static nated" to our internal servers. It seems to be working fine, but the front panel no longer shows any traffic inbound. I know there is traffic...it just doesn't show up. I'm not real worried about this, just wondered if anyone knows why this is so.

Hi Walt

I don't I'm afraid but it does sound like a problem. The front panel is controlled by drivers in the firmware so it may require you to download the flash and reboot from WSM.

Have you tried that at all? I can confirm on FB1000 in routed mode it should work fine.

Peter,

Yes, it has been reflashed. Yet, it works just fine, but it doesn't show any traffic. As I said, I'm not worried about it, just curious.

Are you saying that you have a similar setup and yours DOES show the traffic? I'm running WFS 7.5.

Walt
