fine tune field position

need to know if there is a way to by-pass the default y-axis settings (multiple of inches) to reposition a field on a report. example: repositions to eighths of an inch, i need sixteenths. * something similar to a nudge in MS-Word

In Options/Layout adjust the grid size to ".05" or ".005" inches or any other size.

Hi,

I think you can also specify 'free text positioning' which removes all link to the grid when you move text.

Can have the disadvantage of making it difficult to line up fields
