Hi all,

I thought I knew some PERL but I'm having a brain fart. Can someone please help me. I need to find all files in a directory containing a specific sequence of characters and list them as links. For example, I need to find all files with the characters "fasoc" as part of the name then display them as links. The display as links is no problem, but the finding of the files containing the specific characters eludes me. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
MER

Try this:

foreach (<*fasoc*>){
print "$_\n";
}
