I'm poking around in my system (CM 3.1.4) looking for unused extensions to reclaim. Is there any command to show everywhere an extension is referenced? (ie: the extension is used in a vector, or a coverage path, etc.)

The 'list extension-type' command will show you what each extension is used for (VDN, hunt-group, agent ID, etc.). If you run the report through ASA you can export the data to a file then pull it into Excel.

List Usage was what I was looking for. Need to see where an extension might be part of a pickup group, hunt group, etc.

Jeff, as you are logging into ASA their is a "find unused extensions". You can save it into excel or .csv file from there.

I also like Utilcall It also has a (IMO) a better laid out version for finding unused extensions. It list all but highlights the unused. Thats just one of many utility packages that it has to offer.

When is the last time you helped someone, just because you were able to?

Ah, I was unclear with my terminology. What I'm doing is finding assigned extensions that are not actually being used so I can remove them to free up station licenses.

Thanks for the"find unused" tip though. I had forgotten about that one. Fortunately my move/add/change volume is very low so hunt and poke has worked.
