How can I see who has a .ldb file (the database) open? I think I remember opening the ldb in notepad is this it? thanks.
 
Make a copy of the .ldb; I would not recommend opening the active .ldb.

Yes, you can open it with Notepad or Wordpad and it will show you the logon name of all users.

Another method is to get the LDBViewer from microsoft. It's free and provides some additional info.
