Recently I had to restore a public folder contact folder on an SBS2003 server using veritas backup exec 9.0 After the restore was done, many users cannot use the FIND feature in outlook 2003 and they are unable to manipulate the contacts as they used to (don't have too much detail about this I'm affraid)
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this contacs folder would behave this way when people try to FIND contacts. If you search for a name, you get nothing. If you use the advanced FIND feature it works.
