I need to get a count of files that were received per day, and then from that I then need to display the max number of files and the min number of files received. This will need to be in a date range style sql statement. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.

Please find out how to ask a good question. You haven't provided near enough information.

ok... I have a database with about 35 fields in the table. I want to do a count of of the field borrower in table new_main_info within a given range. I will then need to find out within that range what was the lowest number of files that were received in a day and the most amount of files that were received in a day. Hope that is a bit clearer.

Thanks,

Not much clearer to me. Can you provide a small sample of data and what you would expect for results? You keep saying "number of files" and "date" but you don't describe anything remotely close to fields that might contain this information.
