find last position in char string

Hi all
I have a column in a table which contains a string of Y or N values e.g.NNNNNYYYYYNNNNNYYYYYNNNNNY
and i want to be able to return the last position of Y from the string eg the last Y is position 26
Is this posible

Have a look at the CHARINDEX, REVERSE and LEN functions. A combination of these should give you what you need.
