Find Function on Forms

why won't my find record button work i created it with the wizard?
Preferably i would like a search button that would use any information entered in the fields to search for a specific record without opening any sub forms
please help

make sure that the find popup is looking in the field that you are searching on. Also is it searching a form that cycles all records? If it only cycles the current record that might cause problems.

if the search dialog isn't coming up at all, I would try deleting the button and its code, and making it again from scratch. Something must be up.
