Hi,

First of all i'll start by saying how extremely careless I've been....

Basically I've made a few pivot tables that are linked to external data sources, the problem is i just can't remember which data source I used..... And I need to change the query, cause they want a slightly different slant on the figures....

Pleeeeeeaaaaaase help.... I've tried going back through the pivot table wizard, but when I get to the choose columns screen, can't check to see which data source has columns missing, cause i got hundreds of data sources with totally irrelevant names....

Why wasn't I more organised when I started righting queries and naming tables.... Where was my naming protocol.... My head is bowed and my shame is great!!!!!

My dear, would like to clarify something first before really do a test on your query:-

Are you connecting your data using OLAP features?
Which and which backend are u using?

Simple Access database standard odbc and msquery.....

Sorry Lads, just sorted it out and realised, once again, that I'm not with the programme......

Simply went back through the wizard and instead of choosing to bring the data back to Excel, I viewed it in MSQuery.....

I'm turning into such a fool...... Think it's the time of year!!
