Final verdict on SP2?

There's been a lot of discussion about problems with Win2kSP2 on VIA/AMD platforms on this forum. People have suggested installing SP2 only on fresh Win2k installs (no SP1), flashing BIOS, disabling ATA100 and so on. In my endless journey on to figure out how to squish the "cannot unload your registry" userenv error I've finally decided to try Win2k SP2.

So, has anyone figured out what is it with SP2, boot hangings and blue screens?
