We are using BABv9. I was backing up a server on the network and had one of the directories filtered to exclude certain types of files. Now this server has been moved, and I have to back it up through the agent. When I try to apply the same filters, the only option I see is to apply the filters to the entire server. I only want that one directory on that server to be filtered. Anyone know of another way to do this?

Thanks

I forgot to mention.. the filter that I want to apply is the "file modified before" filter. Still just on one of the directories, not the entire server.

Yes, if you right click on the server name you can set the filter, but it will apply to all drives on that server.

I just wanted to set the filter on e:\ but not on d:\

If you drill down and try to right click on the drive, it doesn't give you a filter option. I was hoping there might be another way to accomplish this.

HI,

If you want to exclude a specific directory on the e:\,
right click on the server, go to filters, directory pattern and add e:\<dir_name>.

Hope this helps
Cheers
