I have an Access database documenting my Programme Collection which has over 2,000 records. I want to design a Form which selects records based on the value of the field "Competition". I have an SQL query which can select all the programmes for a particular competition. I can make the field "Competition" on my Form into a Combo Box so that I can scroll through a list of all the existing competitions and therby select one. What I want to happen is for the first record for that selected competition appear in the Form fields and then to scroll through each successive record meeting that value of "Competition" ?
I am very novice in dealing with Access Forms so please don't be brief with your answer.

I would think the best thing for you to do is to get a sample of this setup so that you can study the methods used and use it with your own data.
If you send me an email to frank@fhsservices.co.uk
I will be happy to send you a sample - please make the subject of the email "Quick search Combo"
