hey,

what are the filesystem and filesize limits on Solaris 6,7,8,9,10 UFS?

TIA!

According to this document ( a UFS filesystem can be as large as 1 Terabyte. This doc is dated 1994 though.

According to this Veritas document ( a filesystem can be up to 32 Terabytes with version 5. A filesystem can be up to 256 Terabytes with version 6. An individual file can be over 32 Terabytes only with a 64 bit kernel.

And here's a quick white paper on largefiles, It has some good info.

I'm sure there are more docs. These are just from a quick search on
Hope this helps.
