I was working with my website and suddenly I lost the document I was working on and all the regular html files in my site list suddenly are all listed under the "type" category as "netscape" files. What could have caaused this and how can I chaaange them back to regular html files? This is crazy I was working on a document and was getting ready to add a cell when allthis happened weird does anybody know what could have caused this or had a ssimilar experience?

Was it the actual extensions that changed, or just the file associations? (i.e. blah.html to blah.ns?) Do you have anti-virus software installed and is it up-to-date. There are viruses out there that rename files and no matter how uplikely it sounds there is a very slim chance that could have been it. Let me know and I'll see if I can help further.

Dreamweaver seems to call all HTML files "Netscape" in the Site window's file listing. It doesn't change anything or hurt anything as far as I can tell.
