I have exactly the same problem as this thread thread41-1044974.
Opening, and printing the files via the Intranet is no problem. However, the authors, with "full control" rights, open these files via Windows Exlorer, they open as RO. ("Read-Only" in the title bar). The files are definitely not set to RO. Put the files outside of the website (above - no problem.
Using Server 2003 and IIS.
Something I am missing with IIS ?
Any clues would be very much appreciated.
