Hi there,
I have a Windows 2003 server running Exchange 2003, last week my information store suddenly crashed for no apparent reason. We were able to simply restart the store service and all appeared well however ever since my Windows/temp directory has been growing approximately 20 mb a day with various *.$$$ files. When opening these files with notepad they appear to be just jibberish, maybe some sort of dump file, however I cannot move or delete them without restarting the server.
Has anyone out there come across this and can offer a solution? I only have 1 gb of free space on my C drive and weekly reboots to remove these files are not an option.
Thanks in advance,
Loyalist
