Whens the last time you ran chkdsk and defrag?

To run chkdsk, go to my computer, right click on the hard drive left click properties. Then click the tools tab, under error checking click check now then check both boxes. It will say cant run now would you like to run on next restart tell it yes. Then restart and let it run.

When it finishes and you load into windows go to start, programs, accessories, system tools and then click defragmenter. Now click defrag on the window that opens and let it run till it finishes.

Once those 2 are done if you still have problems perform a full system scan with either of the 2 or both listed below.

Let us know if this helps.
