Hello,
We just recently moved to Window 2000 (about 6 months) DC and ran into issues with our files being placed on our network shares are automatically being deleted once in a while.
Our clients are on 2000 or XP. We have software that scan images from client to these network shares, but when someone are trying to access these, sometime the files/directories are deleted right in front of there eyes.
Since this has been happending, we have done the following, but still have found the cause:
1. down graded our client to 2000 SP2 instead of sp4 (where we knew it was working fine before on an NT domain)
2. replace new servers, Switch - to eleminate hw issues.
3. Scan with serveral anti-virus software
The only time these files are not deleted are being stored on the local PC.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
