Hi,

I've got a stable VPN connection from my home (using Greenbow IPSec software on Win2k) to the office (Linksys BEFSX41 vpn router).

However, I can't access a Windows share on a PC behind the Linksys. I CAN however ping it, but can't get to it by the usual \\192.168.1.100\data or even \\server\data.

My IP structure is as follows:

My home network
-----------------
My PC: 192.168.0.100
My DSL Router: 192.168.0.1

My Office Network
------------------
Linksys VPN Router: 192.168.1.1
PC with Share: 192.168.1.100

In Greenbow, I've set it up to display me as 192.168.2.1 in the office network.

Any thoughts?!

Thank :)

change your subnet at home to 10.x.x.x or 172.x.x.x

Since you can ping the remote IP, I am assuming it is permission or Cached Credentials issues. To test it, using the net view \\Ip command. You will receive system error 5 if it is permiession issue. or check this web page for step by step troubleshooting.
