I am running quark 6.0 on OSX (Panther) and every now and then when I export my layout as a PDF the file name that is in the Save as box is not the same as the Quark Document. It seems to pick the file name that was last saved but I am not 100% of this, I am still QAing.

I have a workflow in place for our Digital Asset Management system that requires that the PDF and Quark must have the identical name in order for the renditions to match correctly. Since we moved to 6 every now and then the incorrect PDF ile is being linked to the QUark files.

Any ideas on to what is causing this? Quark 6.0 or OSX (panther)? They are both brand new to me.

TIA!

When you export the xpress document as PDF It will pick the Layout name instead of the document name. for example if you are having your document name as abc.qxp and layout name as layout 1 then the PDf name is Layout 1.pdf.
